Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions with expert store-system and parts knowledge. The role combines sales, DIY service support (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), and inventory management to meet service and sales targets.

The position requires automotive parts expertise, strong customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfilling customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Ability to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: activity assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock management.
