Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our team. This professional-level sales role supports advanced DIY functions, with deep knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive diagnostics.

You will handle in-store and phone interactions, source parts, and assist with advanced projects. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, proven sales ability, and ASE P2 certification or readiness.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• ASE P2 certification preferred or ready equivalent.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Proficient with inventory processes and parts lookup systems.
• General automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment and opening/closing.
• Assist in store inventory processes and maintain cleanliness.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing.
