Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our DIY team in the United States. The role combines advanced automotive parts knowledge with high-level customer service, helping DIY customers both in-store and over the phone.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong selling skills, and the ability to operate inventory and POS systems. ASE certification is preferred and a valid driver's license is required to perform on-site tasks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and in-store fulfillment experience.
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience to DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties such as opening/closing and safety tasks.
