Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to join our automotive parts team in the United States. You will apply expert knowledge of store systems, parts lookup, and DIY services to assist customers in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, performing DIY services such as battery testing and installations, and maintaining store appearance and safety. Prior parts experience and ASE certification are valued, with full-time hours and equal opportunity

Qualifications

• 3-5 years automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Speak/write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.

Strong sales ability

Microsoft Word/Excel

Parts lookup systems

POS familiarity

Safety awareness

Language: English (Spanish a plus)

Education
