Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support the DIY customer base with expert knowledge of store systems, parts and automotive diagnostics. This full-time role involves identifying parts, troubleshooting, and assisting on the shop floor and via phone to meet sales and service goals.

Candidates should have 3-5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license, ASE certification preferred, and the ability to work varied days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfilling customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
