Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts lookup for customers in-store and by phone. The role emphasizes expert knowledge of store systems, automotive diagnostics, and parts sourcing to meet sales goals.

Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of automotive parts experience, proven sales ability, and a valid driver’s license; ASE certification is preferred. The position requires flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends and offers full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past customer transactions.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Operate POS and Parts lookup systems.
