Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver GAS2 selling and expert parts knowledge at our store. You will support DIY customers with batteries, wipers, and other services, while meeting sales targets and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires automotive parts experience, strong customer service, and the ability to operate inventory and POS systems. A valid driver's license is required; ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• Experience with parts lookup and inventory systems.
• Driver's license required; ASE certification preferred.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment and opening/closing duties.
• Assist in inventory: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Maintain store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services and parts sourcing as needed.
