Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge and GAS2 selling proficiency to DIY customers in our store.

This role requires strong customer service, inventory skills, and the ability to work with store systems to locate and source parts. You will be responsible for supporting DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, while helping the team meet sales targets and maintain a clean, organized storefront.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts sales experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
