Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert automotive parts knowledge and DIY service to customers in-store and by phone. You will use store systems to locate parts, support battery testing and wiper installations, and help customers find solutions while working toward sales and service goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills essential.
• Ability to use store systems to locate and stock parts; familiarity with DIY services.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
