Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales and customer service. The role requires in-depth parts knowledge, store inventory familiarity and the ability to source from multiple channels.

ASE certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required. The position is full time, with responsibilities including battery testing, wiper installations, and using store systems to assist customers.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to read safety rules, parts catalogs and manuals; follow written instructions.
• Understand and execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience and sales ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high customer service and store appearance standards.
• Perform key holder duties including safety, opening/closing tasks.
