Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY customer needs with deep knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive diagnostics. The role is full time and requires strong service standards and inventory proficiency.

Primary duties include driving sales, delivering DIY services (battery, tests, wiper installs), managing inventory, and upholding store appearance. ASE certification and extensive parts knowledge are highly valued for success.

Qualifications

3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
Proven sales ability and customer service focus.
Valid driver's license and ASE certification preferred.
Ability to read safety rules, catalogs and manuals.

Responsibilities

Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
