Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and store operations. The role focuses on delivering GAS2 selling experiences to DIY customers, performing services like battery testing and wiper installs, and meeting sales and service goals in a full-time store position.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong product knowledge, and comfort with parts lookup and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past customer transactions
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and parts catalogs

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock management
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
