Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support the DIY customer experience with expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.

The role includes battery installations, testing, wiper installs, and managing parts sourcing from multiple channels. The position requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, ASE certification (preferred), and strong communication skills to help customers locate parts and understand diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents and product catalogs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and on the phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Act as key holder with duties including opening/closing and safety tasks.
• Assist in inventory processes: cycle counts, back stock, and stock put away.
