Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and sales. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and strong customer service to help DIY customers.

You will identify and source parts, assist with vehicle services, and maintain accurate inventory. 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and ASE P2 preferred; valid driver’s license required; flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• ASEP2 certification preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts and operate store systems

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
