Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our in-store team in a full-time capacity. You will leverage store systems and deep automotive parts knowledge to assist DIY customers and handle phone inquiries.

The role requires 3–5 years of parts experience, proven sales ability, and a valid driver's license; ASE certification is preferred but not required. You will support DIY services and inventory tasks while upholding outstanding customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability in a retail context
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred, not required
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety instructions
• Experience with inventory and POS/parts lookup systems

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
