Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and part identification. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform battery tests and installs, and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized retail environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of parts experience, strong selling skills, and ASE certification preferred. A valid driver's license is required. This is a full-time position with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in a retail environment.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
