Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with automotive parts knowledge, battery/wiper services, and expert parts lookup.

You will drive sales while maintaining store standards and safety, handling key holder duties, and using inventory and POS systems. Candidates should have 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong English communication, and a valid driver’s license; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• ASE P2 certification or ASE ready equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs
• Ensure high customer service standards and store appearance
• Handle key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, opening/closing)
• Assist in inventory processes and stock management
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems
