Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver GAS2 selling and expert automotive knowledge in a full-time capacity at our store. You will assist customers in person and by phone, handle DIY services such as battery installations, testing, and wiper replacements, and maintain high standards of service and store presentation.

The role requires strong parts knowledge, a proven sales background, and comfort with inventory systems and POS lookups.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
