Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers, using expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts lookup systems to identify the right parts quickly.

In this full‑time role you will handle in‑store and phone sales, perform DIY services (battery installs, wiper replacements, testing), support inventory processes, and uphold customer service and store appearance standards.

Qualifications

Experience in automotive parts sale and DIY support.
Familiarity with safety rules and store procedures.
Proficiency with store inventory and parts lookup systems.
Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and technical documents.

Responsibilities

Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
