Job summary

Spectrum Search Group seeks a Divisional Controller to lead accounting across multiple operating units across the central and southern DFW area. This high-visibility role partners with executive leadership to build processes, improve reporting, and develop the on-site accounting team.

Responsibilities include full-cycle close, consolidations, internal controls, and financial insight to drive decisions. Public accounting exposure and cost accounting experience are valued as the company undergoes

Qualifications

7+ years of accounting experience (some public accounting preferred).
Manager ready to step into a broader leadership role.
Exposure to cost accounting and inventory concepts.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations and leadership.
Hands-on mindset with a track record of process improvement and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Own the full-cycle close process across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Lead and improve month-end close, streamlining processes and reducing cycle time.
Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls across a multi-entity structure.
Partner with operations to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
Identify opportunities to enhance systems, reporting capabilities, and accounting processes.
Build, mentor, and develop an on-site accounting team.
Assist in driving consistency and standardization across locations.
