Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a Divisional Content Coordinator to advance its mission through strategic content creation and distribution within the Indiana Division. You will collaborate with the Community Relations Team to identify corps needs, develop communications strategies, and track progress at corps and divisional levels.

You will travel to corps for video/photo capture, edit materials for social media and press releases, and manage a photo/video

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3 years’ related experience.
• Background checks required.
• Experience in strategic communications, photography and/or videography, and digital media management.

Responsibilities

• Work with leaders to evaluate local communications needs and develop content strategies.
• Travel to corps across the Indiana Division to record videos, take photos, and conduct interviews.
• Attend select corps events to create organic content for social media, websites, and press releases.
• Secure content from across the division for divisional development and marketing needs.
• Edit photos and videos for social media content, corps websites, and other projects.
• Build and manage a comprehensive photo and video archive for use throughout Indiana Division.
• Assist Public Information Officer (PIO) at Emergency Disaster Services responses as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
