Job summary

Omnium, part of Land O'Lakes, seeks a Division Technical Manager to oversee analytical laboratories across multiple US locations. Lead QA/QC, new product development support, and regulatory compliance with a large laboratory team and capital-project responsibilities.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and guide technical strategy for division-wide operations and talent development within the supply chain.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant education.
• 10+ years in the Chemical, Fertilizer or Adhesive Industry driving fundamental process capability improvements, capital upgrades and supporting new product and technology implementations.
• 5+ years in Agricultural chemicals with lab and process development experience.
• A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in a chemical or manufacturing industry. Strong leadership focused on growth and optimization.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Omnium and Plant Nutrition Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities including management of all plant labs and their personnel.
• Manage multi-million dollars in capital projects, departmental budget and cost reductions.
• Interface with Plants, external customers, and Land O'Lakes R&D regarding new product development, quality assurance, contamination prevention, and complaint resolution.
• Support International Development in related areas and coordinate Engineering, Construction, and Process Development at all locations.
• Insure regulatory compliance at multiple sites and lead cost reduction and continuous improvement efforts.
