Job summary

Pulte Homes of New England LLC is seeking an accounting professional to perform monthly close, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance at our Westborough, MA division office. The role supports SOX processes, prepares reconciliations, and contributes to accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field).
• Minimum 2 years general accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of accounting theory and practice.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares journal entries and assists with month end closing process and month end financial reporting package.
• Maintains general ledger accounts and prepares monthly reconciliations.
• Coordinates work efforts with National Shared Services.
• Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for the Division’s SOX binders.
• Process and code customer closing proceeds.
• Assist with land budget maintenance and processing / coding requisitions for payment.
• Assist with Accounts Payable workflow, including invoice review and coding.
• Prepares initial income and balance sheet variance analysis for review by the division finance leaders.
• Assists with the preparation of internal financial reports, cash flow projections and forecasts.
• Prepares year-end tax package and various financial reports.
