Summary

The analyst is responsible for performing, and may lead, a wide range of program management duties, including coordinating and communicating with stakeholders, conducting analyses, and developing, implementing, and sustaining operation of programs for division management and employees on various strategic focus areas and functions and/or other areas as assigned.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and may lead the development, approval, implementation, and analysis of on-going programs; ensures program meets its stated objectives; provides subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day issues. Builds, defines, leads and improves impactful, specific metrics. Work with stakeholders to capture relevant information for quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Researches and facilitates designing new methods of addressing issues supporting strategic priorities throughout the division. Researches applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends.
  • Exercises subject matter expertise to facilitate discussions and coordinate/communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Develops action plans, reports the status of projects, identifies and resolves complex issues for operational and management-related initiatives undertaken by the division. Partners with other divisions on initiatives that need to be coordinated broadly. Clearly communicates assignments, expectations, required results and current status, verbally and in writing, to project team members, project sponsors and stakeholders. Develops, implements, and - manages an integrated, division-wide strategic communications plan to inform staff and other stakeholders about strategic initiatives and their results.
  • Plans and prepares agendas for meetings, may take and distribute meeting minutes, manages documentation, records, and administrative matters.
  • Collaborates on, and may prepare, correspondence, presentations, and related briefing materials for senior management, including messages associated with strategic focus areas.
  • Coordinates and may prepare the division responses to requests directed to the division. This includes analyzing requests, identifying the appropriate subject matter expert to draft a response, coordinating drafts involving multiple parties (including senior officers and staff), reports progress, and resolves issues to meet deadlines.
  • Provides guidance and recommendations to improve and/or streamline guidelines, procedures and systems to address issues or problems.
  • Facilitates the development of communications strategies, programs, and initiatives for the Division and in support of other Board divisions. Assesses needs, designs surveys, conducts focus groups, and participates in the analysis of results.
Position Requirements

Summary: This role will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing the division’s intranet site to help foster a more connected and engaged workplace experience. The ideal candidate will be creative and bring a mix of technical, communications, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Intranet Ownership & Strategic Management
  • Serve as the primary owner and content administrator for the division’s intranet platform, aligning its strategic roadmap with organizational goals and evolving business needs.
  • Analyze user behavior, search data, and engagement metrics to continuously optimize the site architecture, navigation, layout, content, and search functionality.
  • Evaluate and recommend new features, functionality, and integrations to enhance the user experience and ensure that the intranet evolves with the needs of the division.
Platform Governance & Management
  • Work with the Strategic Communications officer and manager to establish, document, and enforce clear intranet governance policies, including site permissions, naming conventions, and content lifecycles.
  • Empower and train (designated) content publishers across the division, providing them with the templates, guidelines, and design best practices they need to follow.
  • Conduct regular content audits to ensure information across all functions remains accurate, fresh, and relevant, periodically managing digital clutter.
Employee Experience
  • Focus on simplifying workflows, making resources intuitive to find, and improving the intranet platform usability.
  • Partner closely with the messaging team to design high-impact landing pages, announcement spaces, and program/campaign sites that give core communications maximum visibility.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR partners to ensure seamless cross-platform integration, aiming for an intuitive, frustration-free digital experience from day one of onboarding.
Preferred qualification
  • Direct experience managing, configuring, and optimizing a corporate intranet or employee collaboration portal.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience managing and configuring SharePoint sites.
  • Proven experience establishing and maintaining governance frameworks for intranet sites or digital workplaces with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles, intuitive navigation design, and digital content taxonomy.
Note

The expected salary range for this role is $128,650 - $166,400, which spans all the posted grades. Final offers are based on the grade for which you minimally qualify and are determined by experience and education, as well as internal and external factors.
