Job summary

Salt Lake County seeks a seasoned Division Director to guide the District Attorney Division's strategy, budget, and culture. You will work with Division Administrators, Chief Deputies, and the District Attorney to align programs with goals and ensure effective service delivery.

You will oversee program development, staffing, and performance, monitor budgets, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with six years' related experience, including two in supervision.
• Education cannot substitute for required supervisory experience.
• Background check via fingerprinting and RAP Back enrollment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall division leadership across planning, staffing, budgeting, and operations.
• Implement strategic initiatives and goals for the division.
• Monitor organizational climate and provide consultative support.
• Oversee development and operation of assigned programs.
• Evaluate staffing resource allocation and advise on service delivery.
• Assist with budgeting and financial management of the division.
• Direct hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Support policy development and ensure compliance.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
