Job summary

FTS International, LLC in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Chief Architect Division Lead to advise senior government leaders on next-generation SIGINT architecture and acquisition strategies, balancing mission performance with cost and risk.

You will develop independent technical assessments, guide portfolio decisions, and communicate complex concepts to executives, supporting strategic programs with a focus on affordability and timely delivery. Security clearance required.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph.
• BS STEM in engineering discipline required.
• 10+ years supporting SIGINT mission systems with stakeholders.
• 10+ years in satellite systems design and military applications.
• 8+ years in major system acquisition and budgeting.
• Strong written and oral communication with executives.
• Familiarity with FAR/DoW processes and budgets.
• Experience with MBSE and Agile practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise SIGINT leadership on architecture concepts, options, and strategies.
• Lead architecture trades evaluating performance, cost, risk, and scalability.
• Create independent technical assessments and recommendations for portfolio decisions.
• Evaluate technologies and prototypes to advance mission capability while controlling cost.
• Synthesize research into clear executive recommendations and paths forward.
• Support acquisition activities and development of acquisition documents and SOWs.
• Translate complex issues into executive briefings and decision papers.
• Interface with senior stakeholders across IC, DoD, acquisition organizations, and industry.
