FTS International, LLC is seeking a Chief SIGINT Systems Architect & Technical Advisor in Chantilly, VA. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor to senior government leaders, shaping architecture strategies, acquisition approaches, and program development for SIGINT capabilities.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI with polygraph, 30+ years of SIGINT systems experience, and deep DoW/IC acquisition knowledge, coupled with strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• MS STEM in engineering discipline.
• 30+ years of experience supporting SIGINT mission systems.
• 20+ years designing satellite systems for military/defense.
• 12+ years with major system acquisition and budgeting processes.
• Ability to translate analyses into actionable recommendations.
• Understanding IC/DoW acquisition processes and budgets.
• Strong written, oral, briefing, and interpersonal skills with executives.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Knowledge of FAR and acquisition regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advise on next-generation SIGINT architecture concepts and strategies.
• Lead architecture trades evaluating performance, cost, risk, and scalability.
• Develop independent technical assessments and actionable recommendations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to advance capability while controlling cost.
• Synthesize market research into clear recommendations and paths forward.
• Support portfolio activities for SIGINT capabilities and prototypes.
• Translate objectives into executable acquisition programs.
• Advise on requirements, acquisition approaches, and program development.
• Identify opportunities to improve affordability and delivery speed.
• Prepare acquisition documentation and related artifacts.
• Translate complex issues into executive-ready recommendations.
• Develop executive briefs and strategic messaging for leadership.
• Interface with IC, DoW, acquisition organizations, and industry.
