Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Division Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead EHS initiatives across our organization. The role partners with Operations and Technical Services to secure compliance, mentor teams, and drive a safety-first culture in challenging food processing environments.

You will develop divisional safety programs, monitor KPIs, and oversee investigations while supporting site teams and external customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS related studies.
• 7 years of progressive management experience in EHS.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid and active Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations VP and Division Leadership to drive EHS strategy.
• Lead enterprise and site-level EHS communications and initiatives.
• Develop and monitor division-wide EHS KPIs and action plans.
• Conduct investigations and ensure closure of corrective actions.
• Provide site mentoring and development for In-Plant Safety Specialists.
