Job Summary and Qualifications

The Division Director of Facility Management (DDFM) provides technical and project support for facility management within an assigned division, requiring residence within the supported region. Responsibilities include site visits, collaboration with local Directors, managing infrastructure, staffing, projects, and developing future leaders. The ideal candidate has extensive facilities maintenance knowledge in an accredited acute care hospital setting, familiarity with FacilitiGroup standards, and excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Quality
  • Regular site visits and campus reviews with the Director of Facility Management.
  • Ensure maintenance and operation meet HCA standards using CMMS and compliance software.
  • Monitor performance metrics and regulatory compliance, addressing issues proactively.
  • Evaluate infrastructure systems, prioritize capital requests, and oversee projects to ensure adherence to standards.
Service
  • Support facilities during emergencies or temporary director absences.
  • Assist with construction, equipment projects, and infrastructure utilities issues.
People
  • Work with teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
Growth
  • Collaborate on department practices for optimal upkeep.
  • Provide annual performance evaluations and promote staff development.
Finance
  • Oversee critical infrastructure and vendor performance.
  • Develop and manage budget for infrastructure planning.
Other
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to the organization's Code of Conduct, Mission, and Values.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field.
  • 7+ years in facility management in an acute care setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role as a director.
  • Master’s degree, PE, CHFM, or CHE credentials are a plus.
