The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates is seeking a Division Director for the Endocrinology Division. The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) Department of Medicine is seeking a Division Director for the Endocrinology Division. The MFA is an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University. The Division Director will be able to lead and grow a successful division in an academic medical setting. Tremendous growth and expansion potential exist in support of the organization’s academic and clinical mission. This non-tenure track appointment, expected to begin as early as Summer 2025, will be made at a salary and rank (Associate/Full Professor) commensurate with experience ranging from $250,000.00 to $300,000.00. The Endocrinology Director will lead divisional faculty in research, educational and clinical services, strategic planning, development, and resource management. The new Division Director, who will report to the department chair, will also aim to advance the division through patient care, practice innovation, research and education. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, clinical, research, and academic accomplishments, with the ability to build vibrant, contemporary programs.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be board-certified in General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism (or in Endocrinology and Metabolism) and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. Applicants must have a record of providing excellent clinical care services and leadership in research and clinical education, as demonstrated by experience, publications, evaluations, and references.
