Job summary

TranSource, Inc. is seeking a seasoned accounting leader to oversee all divisional accounting operations and financial reporting.

You will ensure accuracy, GAAP compliance, and timely information to support strategic decision-making. You will manage month-end close, supervise the accounting team, coordinate audits, and provide analysis to senior management on trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability.

Qualifications

  • BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all divisional accounting operations including AP/AR, fixed assets, debt, and general ledger.
  • Manage the month-end close process and ensure timely/accurate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance across accounting, tax, and reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist with external financial audits, reviews or compilations where applicable.
  • Oversee tax-related processes including sales/use tax and other filings.
  • Provide cash flow and working capital reporting to support operations and strategy.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting/finance team with clear roles and performance expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

FUNCTION

Responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting activities of the division. This role will ensure accuracy, compliance and timely information for decision making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

(Other duties may be assigned. Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.)

  • Oversee all divisional accounting operations, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, debt, and general ledger.
  • Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to improve performance and profitability.
  • Assists with external financial audits, reviews or compilations, as applicable.
  • Oversee tax-related processes, including coordination of sales/use, and other tax filings with internal staff.
  • Provide cash flow and working capital reporting to support operational and strategic needs.
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor the accounting/finance team, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
