Responsibilities

• Oversee divisional accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, debt, and general ledger.
• Manage month-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Assist with external audits, reviews, or compilations as applicable.
• Oversee tax-related processes including sales/use tax filings.
• Provide cash flow and working capital reporting to support operations and strategy.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor the accounting/finance team.

FUNCTION

Responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting activities of the division. This role will ensure accuracy, compliance and timely information for decision making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

(Other duties may be assigned. Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.)

• Oversee all divisional accounting operations, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, debt, and general ledger.
• Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to improve performance and profitability.
• Assists with external financial audits, reviews or compilations, as applicable.
• Oversee tax-related processes, including coordination of sales/use, and other tax filings with internal staff.
• Provide cash flow and working capital reporting to support operational and strategic needs.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor the accounting/finance team, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
