Job summary

Loyola Medicine in Chicago's western suburbs seeks a Division Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to lead a growing team. The role combines meaningful clinical practice with program direction, team development, quality improvement, and strategic growth.

The Division collaborates across hospitals and specialties, including breast, dermatology, trauma, and oncology, with opportunities to shape patient care, recruitment, and program advancement within a quaternary care system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Plastic Surgery.
• Associate or Professor of Surgery rank.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.
• Mentorship for faculty, residents and students.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and balance clinical excellence with operational stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, strategic, and operational leadership for the division.
• Guide division spanning cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, breast reconstruction, skin cancer reconstruction, facial reconstruction, body contouring, burn surgery, complex wound care, and pediatric deformities.
• Collaborate with Breast Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Dermatology, Trauma, Wound Care, and hospital leadership to strengthen patient care.
• Partner with leadership on physician recruitment, access, quality improvement, operational standardization, and program expansion.
