Job summary

Loyola University Medical Center seeks an accomplished Plastic Surgeon to serve as Division Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This leadership role combines meaningful clinical work with directing the program, mentoring faculty, and expanding services across cosmetic and reconstructive fields in a multidisciplinary setting.

The role requires MD/DO with Board Certification in Plastic Surgery and Associate/Professor rank, with prior leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Plastic Surgery.
• Leadership experience in division development or physician management preferred.
• Proven mentorship and career guidance for faculty, residents and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, strategic, and operational leadership for the division.
• Guide a division spanning cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, breast reconstruction, skin cancer reconstruction, facial reconstruction, body contouring, burn surgery, and pediatric deformities.
• Collaborate with hospital departments and leadership to strengthen coordinated patient care and program expansion.
• Partner with leadership on physician recruitment, access, quality improvement, and standardization.
