Job summary

UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health is seeking a full-time faculty member at Associate or Full Professor rank to serve as Division Chief for the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Division in Fresno, CA.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD/DO, be board certified in Gastroenterology, be eligible for a California medical license, and demonstrate strong leadership, teaching, endoscopic procedures, and clinical research within a growing division.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD, DO or equivalent) and board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for California medical license prior to hire.
• Strong leadership experience and background.

Responsibilities

• Manage a growing GI & Hepatology Division that includes 6 GI Fellows.
• Provide patient care and teach Residents and Fellows.
• Oversee endoscopic procedures and clinical research.
• Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with background and accomplishments.
