Yale Cancer Center in New Haven seeks an experienced manager to oversee administrative operations across Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation. You will supervise a team of administrative staff, manage a $7M budget, and partner with clinical and leadership teams to drive efficiency, patient service, and strategic initiatives.
You will develop financial plans, monitor performance metrics, and ensure compliance with university and payer requirements.

Reporting to the Associate Director (AD) of the Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation, manage annual operating budget of approximately $7M, business affairs and controls, oversight of four subspecialties in Orthopaedics: Trauma, Adult Reconstruction, Hand & Upper Extremity, and Pediatrics. Manage the daily operations across all departmental missions including the clinical mission, corresponding clinical site locations, staffing and faculty support (co-managing With Manager of Administrative Services) a team of approximately 16 administrative assistants for 30+ faculty) for all four divisions. Oversee interdepartmental and community relations along with special projects.
Thorough working knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and fund accounting preferred Experience integrating multiple, complex pieces of financial information to identify themes, trends, and issue. Database management skills.
Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field and six years of related technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
