Job summary

The Diver Systems team at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee diver systems for the Advanced Technology Laboratory. This on-site role on the Pickle Research Campus requires leadership in project management, documentation, scheduling, and testing across Navy diving-related projects.

The candidate should have a strong background in engineering or computer science, significant diving knowledge, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or similar technical field.
• Six+ years of engineering, software development, or technical diving experience.
• Three+ years in project or program management with supervisory experience.
• Significant military or technical diving knowledge and Navy diving protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop project documentation and systems engineering artifacts.
• Coordinate projects with sponsors and development staff.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Plan and execute development, evaluation, and testing activities.
• Develop system concepts and proposals.
• Other related functions as assigned.
