Qualifications

• Minimum 48 college credit hours or successful completion of the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or completion of an Associate's Degree.
• Experience working with youth in an organized setting and some instructional experience in a classroom environment working with children and parents with special needs, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers by implementing instructional practices and activities.
• Assist with health-related procedures and maintaining safety in the classroom.
• Record data and help monitor student progress and behavior.
• Prepare instructional materials and manage classroom records.
• Assist in transporting students and supporting non-academic activities.
