Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 48 college credit hours or successful completion of the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or an Associate's Degree.
• Experience working with youth in organized settings and instructional experience with children with special needs.
• Ability to support students with special health care needs and follow IEPs and district policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified teachers in implementing instructional practices and maintaining safe learning environments.
• Carry out health-related procedures and maintain records as required.
• Maintain student data, monitor progress, and support behavior management per teacher plans.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with clerical tasks in the classroom.
• Supervise and transport students as needed, including activities and bus routines.
• Contribute to professional development activities for paraprofessionals.
