Wayne County School District in Monticello, Kentucky, seeks an Athletic Director to lead district-wide athletic programs, ensure compliance with KHSAA bylaws, and align activities with district policies. Reporting to the Superintendent, the AD will supervise operations, budgets, hiring, facility planning, and safety while mentoring coaches and coordinating game management.

• Kentucky Teacher certification required.
• Minimum three years of successful coaching experience.
• Master's degree in educational administration or supervision.
• Not serve as a coach while holding the athletic director position.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the athletic program.
• Collaborate with the principal and superintendent to evaluate athletic programs and ensure a quality student experience.
• Ensure compliance with all KHSAA Bylaws & reporting.
• Oversee Title IX compliance issues, reports, and concerns, as they pertain to athletics.
• Advise principals on all coaching hires.
• Provide for induction and mentoring of new coaches.
• Advise coaches on various program issues as required.
• Oversee the collection of financial information from booster clubs.
• Manage district athletic budgets and purchasing.
• Collaborate in the planning, design, and oversight of athletic facility construction projects.
