Community Consolidated School District 59 seeks a District-Wide Community Outreach Specialist to engage families, visit homes, support family and community events, and provide social and emotional support to families and students. The role supports the Director of SEL & Student Equity and building administrators.

The position requires travel to/from various locations in the district, fluency in English and Spanish preferred, and involves 10 months of work with 8 hours per day.

Qualificações

• Must have the ability to travel to/from various locations in the district as needed
• Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish preferred

Responsabilidades

• To enhance student achievement by engaging families of students in the educational process through strong relationship building; visiting families in their homes, assisting with family and community engagement events, delivering social and emotional support and instruction to families and students, and supporting the Director of SEL & Student Equity and building administrators.
