Qualifications

• At least one year of student teaching, approved internship or clinical teaching.

Responsibilities

• Present subject matter per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use varied instructional strategies and materials to meet student needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Plan and supervise duties of aides and volunteers.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Confer with parents and staff to support student success.
• Maintain a productive classroom environment and manage student behavior.
