Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the North Thurston Public Schools network in Lacey, Washington. Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of pharmacology and regulations affecting LPN licensure.
• Experience in working with students’ IEPs and 504 plans.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Individualize and implement health care plans for students.
• Triage, assess illnesses and injuries.
• Administer medication and treatments.

Skills

Knowledge of health care and LPN techniques

Ability to recognize situations exceeding LPN training

Ability to administer medications

Experience working with culturally diverse families

Education

Associate’s degree or higher

Current Washington State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Tools

CPR and First Aid certification
