Ruidoso Municipal Schools District Wide in New Mexico is seeking a Diagnostician – District-Wide. The role focuses on providing diagnostic information and collaborating with instructional personnel to determine the best programs for students with disabilities.

The position requires a valid license from the NM Public Education Department or eligibility, and the candidate will implement the SPED assessment process, lead evaluation teams where applicable, and actively participate in EDT meetings

Qualificações

• Must hold a valid license from the New Mexico Public Education Department or be eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Provide diagnostic information and collaborate with instructional personnel to determine the most appropriate programs for students with disabilities.
• Implement the SPED assessment process.
• Lead evaluation teams as applicable.
• Conduct REEDS's.
• Actively participate and lead EDT meetings as applicable.
• Ability to work with changing priorities, regulations and deadlines.
• Ability to analyze situations accurately and to recommend necessary action.
• Demonstrate effective staff and public relations skills.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements.
