Job summary

GreatWater 360 Auto Care in Rockford, IL is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to support multiple shops within the district. This bench role prepares you to step into your own Service Manager position as you lead teams, uphold standards, and build trust with customers.

You will coach service advisors, manage operations with a solid understanding of P&L and KPIs, and travel across the district as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive shop management experience.
• 1+ year of service advisor experience or strong sales ability.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory MVR.
• Ability to travel and support multiple shops in the district.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead operations across multiple shops within the district.
• Step in where needed to uphold service, safety, and performance standards.
• Build trust-driven customer relationships.
• Coach, train, and develop service advisors and shop teams.
• Manage shop performance with a strong understanding of P&L and KPIs.
• Lead by example—professionalism, accountability, and culture matter here.
• Prepare to transition into your own shop as a Service Manager.
