Description DISTRICT TRANSLATOR POSTING IS OPEN AND PROMOTIONAL WITH PROMOTIONAL TAKING PRECEDENCE The established Eligibility List will remain in effect for one year. The District has the right to limit the number of eligible which can be reasonably used during the existence of the eligibility list. The provisions of this announcement do not constitute an expressed or implied contract and any provisions contained in this announcement may be modified or revoked without notice. The purpose of this recruitment is to establish an eligibility list to fill future vacancies.

District Translator positions are typically 12 months / 8.0 hours per day

Education And Experience :

Any combination equivalent to: High School diploma or equivalent supplemented by training or coursework in interpretation and translation technology and two years of related experience performing interpreting and translating functions with increasing levels of responsibility.

Continuing Education/Training :

Training necessary to maintain and/or update skills related to this position.

Licenses And Other Requirements

Valid Class C driver's license and evidence of insurability Certificate in translation and interpretation is desirable
