Job summary

CVS Health in Jackson, MS is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district and support pharmacy teams with patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and assist Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Serve as Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts as needed.
• Assist with immunizations and collaborative care within CVS Health policies.
• Maintain inventory control and protect cold chain products.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and CVS policies.
