CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across the district. You will help manage patient health through dispensing, counseling, and immunizations, while traveling to fill shifts and cover pharmacy manager duties as needed.

The role requires active state pharmacist licensure, an active NPI, and compliance with DEA lists. Regular travel, weekend attendance, and strong patient service skills are essential. 40 weekly hours, full-time position.

Formación

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsabilidades

• Live CVS Health’s purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by leadership; oversee the pharmacy and serve as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and coaching the team to do the same; collaborate with the patient’s healthcare team.
• Provide immunizations and support staff in learning to immunize; proactively resolve insurance and medication issues.
