Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will help manage pharmacy operations, dispense medications safely, counsel patients, and support immunization services under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader.
The role requires travel within a reasonable district radius, regular attendance including nights and weekends, and adherence to CVS policies.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications safely and counsel patients.
- Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts.
- Oversee pharmacy operations when on duty as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
- Support immunizations and patient care in the district.
