Job description

District Substitute Teachers: (1 position open working primarily at the elementary level)

South Eastern School District is looking for motivated substitute teachers to serve within our district buildings every day we are teaching in-person. These positions will run for the entire 2024-2025 school year.

As a District Substitute Teacher you will receive an email by 6:30 AM each morning with your placement for the day. You will be placed 1–2 in elementary and 2–3 in secondary schools and may work in grades K–12.

Pay is $160.00 per student day you are teaching in-person, approximately $23 per hour.

The District will consider any person who has a bachelor’s degree (education degree not required) if we are unable to fill the position with certified teachers.

South Eastern School District utilizes the substitute services of The Substitute Teacher Service (STS) for these positions.
